Xenophon Does Textbook PR... No, Really!

At Xenophon headquarters in D.C. we have framed copies of significant news coverage we have placed for our clients around the office. We have a New York Times story for The Salvation Army and a Los Angeles Times article framed for a piece of work we did with the Dollar Coin Alliance, alongside many other stories that Xenophon has been a part of in our 10 year history. These stories are a sense of pride for everyone in the office and proof that all the hard work and effort paid off.

Today, it looks like we’re going to have to figure out how to showcase books that Xenophon has played a role in. A professor at American University, where my colleague Erica Lawton attended grad school, has included a case study about Xenophon’s work for the Air Transport Association’s SOS Now Campaign in Public Relations Cases, Ninth Edition, a textbook used for communications courses at over 170 colleges and universities. This campaign also won Xenophon the 2009 Silver Anvil Award from the Public Relations Society of America, the industry’s highest honor. With the inclusion in this textbook, it’s pretty amazing to think that students will be in class, learning about something we worked on as an example of “what to do” in public relations.

Now, you can see the work we do on the front page of national newspapers, the top story on broadcast news and in the classroom - the trifecta for PR professionals!
