Xenophon's Top 10 of 2010
Xenophon News
It’s been an exciting year at Xenophon. From new employees, to new clients to new stories, we’d like to share it all! But since the holidays are busy, we’ve narrowed it down in Xenophon’s Top 10 of 2010.
-
New Employees: First we must identify our new staff members: Jason Meath, Jennifer June, Erica Lawton, Josh Stewart and Bellamy Brown. Xenophon wouldn’t be the same without them.
-
New Clients: We began new relationships with some amazing organizations, including: ATR North America, the Reform Pension Board, the Church Benefits Association, and the U.S. Grains Council. We’ve enjoyed getting to know these new clients!
-
Advertising Practice: Since we launched the new practice just over six months ago, we produced more than 25 broadcast ads, 10 long form video programs, held seven production shoots and played an active role in this year’s elections helping both sides of the political aisle.
-
Social Media: We helped our oldest client, Airbus Americas, launch its first social media presence on Facebook and Twitter, picking up thousands of fans in the first few days.
-
Stop Oil Speculation Now Campaign: We scored a major victory with the SOS Now campaign when President Obama signed the financial reform bill. This came two years after the start of the campaign with the Air Transport Association.
-
NY Bridges Are Falling Down: We developed this campaign to help The Crisis Program raise awareness for the condition of deteriorating roads and bridges in New York State. It included all types of ads and a fully interactive website.
-
Haiti Earthquake: One of our proudest moments this year was helping The Salvation Army deliver critical supplies and services to thousands of people who were affected by the earthquake that struck the island in January. Their fast action across the country and around the world helped ease human suffering in countless ways.
-
Hunger in Canada: Similarly, The Salvation Army’s “Restocking The Shelves” report highlighted the incredible demand for food services in Canada and Bermuda as a result of the economic recession. Media coverage of the report was critical to bring attention to the growing problem and need for donations.
-
Government Affairs: Our Government Affairs team continues its work with both sides of the aisle to help our clients accomplish their goals. It's clients like the Lennox School District in L.A., which recently started receiving money from the $120 million it was granted with Xenophon's help, to improve its facilities by soundproofing classrooms to avoid noise from the nearby LAX, among other projects.
-
Pacific Atlantic Partners: Our partnership with the L.A.-based firm Ek & Ek continues to be extraordinarily successful. Known as the Pacific Atlantic Partners, we continue our work with organizations such as the Water Replenishment District of Southern California, which works to provide drinking water to millions in the L.A. area.
We couldn’t have done this without your support. Thank you for everything you did for us in 2010, we’re looking forward to an even better 2011! Have a safe and wonderful holiday season!
