Xenophon provided strategic counsel and media training in preparation for the NTSB public hearings following the crash of Flight 261 into the Pacific Ocean in 2000. Xenophon developed training scenarios that sought to anticipate issues in media coverage. These scenarios were used by Xenophon personnel to prepare Alaska executives for interviews, and to assist the airline in developing a proactive communications strategy.
