Xenophon Strategies Welcomes Abigail Loyd as Sr. Associate
Loyd to Support NEC and Other Clients’ Communications Goals
December 2020
In November, Xenophon welcomed Abigail Loyd as a new member to its PR team. Abigail was hired as a Senior Associate and will support communications strategy and project management for several clients. Primary areas of responsibility will include two of the agency’s largest and longest-tenured accounts including NEC Corporation of America.
Previously, Abigail worked at CRAFT in Washington, D.C., which focuses on media and digital public relations. At CRAFT she helped develop and execute communications efforts in political advocacy, crisis communications, and brand reputation management. She placed clients in top-tier media outlets such as The Washington Post and Forbes.
Prior to CRAFT, Abigail earned a BS in Public Relations and an MS in Integrated Marketing Communication from Florida State University in 2017.
Abigail is originally from Lubbock, TX where she was classically trained in piano – having been playing now for 16 years. In addition, she is a self-described amateur runner but is now training with friends to run a half-marathon in D.C. this spring.
Hiking is a big hobby for Abigail, who hikes the Lighthouse Trail at Palo Duro Canyon with her family whenever she’s home. Though, one of her favorite hikes ever is the Alum Cave Trail in the Smoky Mountains.
Abigail enjoys reading with her favorite book read in 2020 being Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens. However, her favorite book of all time is the classic, Pride and Prejudice, by Jane Austen.
Abigail has a little sister who is a graduate student at Texas Tech University (wreck em’ tech!).
