In 2011, America was faced with a serious financial crisis as rampant speculation in the oil markets sent fuel prices skyrocketing artificially.
A coalition led by the commercial airline industry trade group, a Xenophon client, embarked on an integrated marketing, branded campaign known as, “Stop Oil Speculation Now,” or S.O.S Now. The branded campaign used paid advertising, digital outreach, media relations, grassroots organizing, public and government affairs, to deliver a new law that curbed this predatory practice. For its work on this campaign, Xenophon was awarded the PRSA’s prestigious “Silver Anvil” award for the best Integrated Marketing campaign of the year.
